Great condition in all arears, driven around 1200 km since being restored in 2011. If you are looking for a fantastic Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT – then look no further.
Sold new in Finland and been in the same city all its life, had 4-owners to date.
The current owner (4th owner) purchased the car in 1980 from a dealer called “Oulu Autohuollo”. He drove it for just over one year, after which it stood outside unused for around a year. After that, the car was dismantled ready for a slight restoration. The car and parts were stored in the owner’s garage.
The restoration did not start until 2005, so stored in the garage for around 23 years. After around 6500 working hours the car was finally put back into use on 27 June 2011. Nearly everything was either renewed or refurbished.
Currently fitted to the car is a replacement engine that was totally rebuilt to the factory specifications and dimensions, reason for the swap was due to the original engine having a threaded block bolt and an issue with the bearing. The original engine is included (in bits).
The body was professionally painted at Autopiste Ltd by a young and skilled painter called Jyrky Vainikainen.
Since being back on the road, it has been driven around 1200 km, once a year for the “May Day” local city start of the season driving gathering.
From the information that we have from the owner, the recorded milage of just over 91 000 km is correct (cannot be guaranteed though). Of course, since the restoration it has only covered around 1200 km.
There are a load of receipts available from the current owners ownership, also the original registration certificate from when he purchased the car in 1980.
