Ford Escort RS Cosworth

It was imported from Switzerland to Finland in 2004. Since being imported it has mainly been stored and only rarely used in the summer months, driven under 15 000 km in the last 20 years.

The meter reading when imported was just under 30 000 km (130 000 km), meter reading to date is just under 45 000 km (145 000 km).

The current owner purchased it in 2018, he is a friend of the person that imported the car. Current owner has maintained it to a high standard and in 2022 registered it on the Finnish Museum register.

Some of the recent maintenance includes the following:

• Rust protection underneath.
• Suspension parts painted black.
• New piston rings and big end bearings.
• Serviced cylinder head.
• New clutch package.
• New gearbox bearings and seals, same to the front & rear diffs.
• New brakes, callipers painted.
• New shock absorbers and STD springs.

On 17/10/2023 a Classic Data inspection was carried out, with a rating of 2+. Full report is included.

This is a lovely original kept Cosworth, everything is intact and she drives lovely.

All original handbooks and manuals are included, also very good service history. Original toolbox, spare wheel and even the original radio are still present.
