Volkswagen 1500S Notchback Rally Car

Very nice condition and race ready.

It was imported from Sweden to Finland in the 70’s as a normal road car, then converted to a rally car in the 90’s. It competed in a few rallies and then stood still in storage for over 20 years without use.

In 2021 this Volkswagen 1500S Notchback Rally Car was totally gone trough ready to get it back to competition standard, below are some brief details of what was carried out.

• Repainted on the outside.
• Full engine rebuild.
• New seats and belts.
• New suspension.
• New brakes.
• New fire extinguishing system.
• Webasto heater.
• Everything checked and serviced.
• New FIA Passport.

Since all this work was carried out it has competed successfully in five rallies, only reason for sale is due to the owner now retiring from motorsport.

It is also road registered with a current valid Finnish inspection (MOT/TUV).
