The Bentley Mk VI is a four-door saloon built between 1946 and 1952. It has a front engine, rear wheel drive configuration and was aimed at the luxury cars market. Other body styles were created by notable coachbuilders.
As British industry adopted the “export or die” motto in the immediate post-war years, Rolls-Royce designed a model aimed at a broader American market. The Bentley Mark VI was the result, and Rolls-Royce probably owes its survival to the model.
This Bentley was imported to Finland in 1985 by the founder of ”Koti Pizza”, same as ”Pizza Hut” in the UK, since being in Finland it has had two owners including the original importer.
The registration in the UK was ”JSU-971” and the then owner was a Mr. Parsons from Sheffield.
The current owner purchased it from the original importer in 2016, so only two owners in Finland since 1985. The current owner had always wanted to own a Bentley, he also owns other Classics and is starting to sell them off as he is lacking time for them all.
It is currently on display in a Auto Museum here in Finland and waiting for its new owner, please let me know if you need any more information or photos.
