Prior to the previous owner, it had been stored and forgotten about for many years. It is in very good original condition and has a current MOT/TUV, I have had a short drive in it and everything seems to be working as it should.
Meter is showing 58000km, I would say that this is correct.
It has a Logbook/Title, registering it in another country will not be a problem.
The bodywork looks nice and straight, seems to be all original.
I am not sure if it is original paint as it is a different shade compared to the engine bay, if it has been repainted it was a very long time ago as it has ageing patina. The last owner had few places touched up and painted, these can be seen in the photos and are to the front and rear valance areas. Luckily though he didn’t have the complete car sprayed, that would have hidden its originality.
The roof has some small dents, not sure what would have caused them. I have tried to capture them in the photos.
You can tell just by looking at the chrome work that this car hasn’t had much use and has spent most of its life stored away. Another tell-tale sign that it has been stored are the little surface rust spots in places, these are caused by dust particles collecting moisture and causing some rust.
It is in very good solid original condition. Only small visible previous repair is to the left-hand side suspension top mount, right-hand suspension top mount I would say is original and hasn’t been repaired.
Still has the original factory inspection tag connected to the wiring loom.
Also in very good solid original condition, been painted with some kind of red rust protector at some stage but not by the previous owner.
Wheel tubs don’t seem to have had any previous repairs and are solid, spare wheel well has had a small bit of welding.
Interior is in great shape for its age.
Seats are all intact without any rips, rubber floor mat is also intact without any ribs.
Interior light cover is missing, and the roof lining looks a bit dirty/stained.
I lifted the floor mat to have a look at the condition of the floors, they are all untouched and solid apart from the driver’s floor having been painted due to surface rust.
I have had a good look around it and been tapping it with a hammer, it all feels solid and rust free.
It is covered in thick under seal, this has been there for many years and hasn’t just been done to hide things. I have scraped it off in numerous places just to check what is hiding below, all I found was nice solid metal. This can be seen in the photos, also there is a photo of the amount of underseal that came off of those few places.
From what I can see it hasn’t had any welding in the past and is in great original condition.
I have tried to explain the condition of the car as best as possible, below is a detailed photo link that should help.
