Dodge Viper GTS
Description
Dodge Viper GTS
Some cars are built to offer comfortable transportation. Others are built to create an unforgettable driving experience. The Dodge Viper GTS belongs firmly in the second category.
Now available is this striking red 1997 Dodge Viper GTS, one of America’s most iconic performance cars of the 1990s. With its unmistakable design, enormous V10 engine and unmistakable presence, the Viper represents an era when American sports cars were all about raw power, mechanical character and pure driving excitement.
The car is for sale due to the passing of the owner.
Condition and history
The car was imported to Finland from the USA in 2005. Since then, it has been driven occasionally with temporary plates, mainly for enjoyment and car shows, and has spent most of its time stored in a garage. The car was never registered in Finland and was last registered in the USA.
It has been running every year and has not been left unused for long periods without being started. The odometer currently shows approximately 16,400 miles (26,400 km).
The car remains in original condition, retaining its distinctive Dodge Viper GTS appearance. The overall exterior presents well, although there are some signs of age and use. There is paint peeling and chipping on parts of the lower bodywork and side skirts, along with some scratches and minor cosmetic imperfections. The bumper was changed due to the original bumper getting damaged whilst loading into the shipping container, we have photos of the original bumper to show that there was no accident damage.
The car would benefit from some cosmetic repairs and general attention but offers a great opportunity for an enthusiast looking for an original Viper GTS with relatively low mileage and an interesting history.
A special opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors
Cars like the Viper GTS are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially with low milage and original condition.
Whether you are a passionate American car enthusiast, a Viper collector or simply someone looking for something truly different, this is a car that deserves attention.
A distinctive American classic with an unmistakable character.
