A rare and highly distinctive Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.3 Avantgarde Azzurro, first registered in Germany in 1992 and imported to Finland in 2011.
The Azzurro was one of Mercedes-Benz’s limited-production Avantgarde special editions, with only approximately 950 examples produced. Based on the W201 190 E 2.3 Sportline, the Azzurro was distinguished by its special Azurblau metallic paintwork and unique, colourful interior.
This example is powered by the 2.3-litre M102 four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 100 kW / 136 hp, paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The car has the characteristic and original Azzurro interior, featuring black leather upholstery with the distinctive red, yellow, blue and green contrasting details on the seats, as well as matching details on the steering wheel and gear selector.
The car retains a very period-correct appearance, complemented by its Sportline specification and Becker Grand Prix 2000 audio system. Other equipment includes electric windows and heated seats.
