Sunbeam Chrysler Avenger 2.0l Sprint

Looking for an Avenger for Hillclimb or Sprint events, then this 2.0l Avenger could just be what you are looking for.

It started life as a standard 1.3 car and was converted to its current specification many years ago but has not seen much action, been stored for many years. As you can see in the photos it is in very good condition.

Below are some pointers:

• Avenger 1.8l engine bored to 2.0l
• Cylinder head with larger valves
• Standard gearbox housing with racing internal ratios
• Lsd axle with either 4.7 or 4.9 ratio, owner can’t remember
• Bilstein front suspension
• Sachs rear dampers
• Original front brakes
• Toyota Crown rear drum brakes
• Quick rack steering
• New electrics
• Fiberglas front wings and bonnet
• Weight around 730kg

We have the original registration certificate but none of the above-mentioned modifications have been listed.
