The car was sold new in Finland by Aotupari Ltd. The car has such a special history that the person who sold the car in the mid-1990s bought it back for themselves in the 2010s and restored it to its current condition. In 2016, he won the Olavi Sallinen restoration award given by Tampere Mobilist with the car. Project pictures of the car are available. After the restoration, the car has only been driven in the summer months.
It has been driven by its current owner several hundred kilometres this spring / summer. The engine feels very lively, and the Dellorto’s carburettors retain their characteristic rumble. Gearbox of a typical old Alfa Romeo, with which you can become yourself after a little learning. The car has just been inspected (MOT/TUV). Before the inspection, the car was serviced, and the brakes were renovated with a lot of money (see the receipt!). In addition, the battery has just been renewed, the interior has been cleaned and the paintwork has been treated.
The car comes with a large amount of Alfa topics, as well as model-specific literature and documents, e.g. repair shop manuals, original service manual and instruction manual, sales brochures, miniature model, two magazine articles made of the car in question with frames Olavi Sallinen’s restoration with an award, etc.
NOTE! The actual mileage of the car is probably 145,000 km (the mileage of the car starts from the beginning after 99,999 km and based on the service book, the car has been driven more than 45,000 km).
