It has been driven at the international historic rallies in Finland and Hungary. Not been used for competition use for the last 3 years, but ready to go for the new owner.

Absolute chaos in Parainen and Kaarina today. There was a crash on the bridge to the archipelago and we were cut off from the Finnish mainland for a couple hours. Vehicles in ditches all over the place.

I was going to put summer tyres on last week but changed my mind on Friday luckily. The road outside yesterday was just super smooth ice, they swept all remaining grit away last week I was hoping to spray the Mk2 escort this week but it will need too much heat
Productive weekend in the garage working on the Avenger, trying to get it ready for Lahti car show in two weeks 🤞
Engine in and hooked up ✅
Gearbox, axle, prop and exhaust fitted ✅
Disgusting old carpet out ready for new black one ✅
Still quite a lot of fiddly jobs left, then it will also need to go to Harinen for a tuneup. Not sure if I can get it ready for Lahti, but 100% ready for the first race of the season 💪
