Here we have a beautiful 1965 MK1 Austin Mini Cooper 1275 S . This Cooper S is in great condition and has been with its current owner for just over 20 years, only reason for sale is due to health issues.

A full restoration was completed by the previous owner in the late 90’s, also registered on the Finnish museum register just after the restoration. The restoration was carried out to try and keep the car as original as possible, only real non-original feature is the extra added fuel tank.

It was sold new here in Finland. There have been ten owners, some of these were in the same family. The owners can be verified with copies of the old registration certificates.

Between 2021-2021 there was a complete overhaul completed. This included full engine service and check, gearbox service and check, fuel lines renewed etc. Everything was gone through and either serviced or renewed, just to keep the car in tiptop condition.

Below are some changes carried out to the engine:

• Cylinders bored out to +0,060.
• Hepolite pistons.
• Kent 266 camshaft, close to the original.
• 12G940 cylinder head, stronger than the original. Included is the very rare undamaged original AEG163 cylinder head.
• C-AHT595 performance clutch plate.

According to the information provided to us, the below items are original.

• AEG312 Engine block.
• AEG316 Crank shaft, cross drilled.
• AEG177 Conrods.
• 22G333 Gearbox.
