Mercedes-Benz 220 W187 1952

Recently completed restoration.

The restoration was completed at the beginning of 2023. On 02.07.2023 it was registered on the Finnish register, inspection (MOT/TUV) was carried out on 10.07.2023.

The only reason this vehicle is now being sold, is as the owner has unfortunately died. His wife has no need for it but will be very saddened to see it go, she is very happy though that her husband was able to complete the restoration and get some enjoyment out of it.

As you will see in the photos, it’s an attractive looking vehicle, very clean and ready to be enjoyed. My opinion though is that the restoration could have been done somewhat better, close-up the paint has an orange peel affect, and there are some other minor flaws that are highlighted in the photos.

Interior has been renewed and is very tidy.

There is no rust, and the underneath has been rust protected.
