Great looking Bug!

Mechanically good and drives well. I have just fitted a new 6v battery and there is also a new carburetor.

The previous owner owned it for around 5 years, he maintained it well and used it only in the summer months.

Engine is a 1200cc and not 1300cc, the previous owner was not aware of this and has no idea when it was changed.

Seats and door cards were recovered/renewed by the previous owner around two years ago at a cost of 2500€, been done very well. He renewed the floor carpet himself using household carpet, roof lining is still original.

It was repainted on the outside around 10 years ago, the finish is nice, and it seems to have been done professionally. It is not the original colour though, this is noticeable as the original paint is still visible on the inside areas. Unfortunately, the previous owner decided to paint the floor, and some other arears himself.

There have been some rust repairs of the years, these are visible in the photos and are mainly to the common rust areas.

This is a great looking Bug that’s gets plenty of nice comments, ready to use and be enjoyed. It is over 50 years old so is far from perfect, the new owner is bound to find some things to improve or renew.
