New FIA Passport issued on 27.09.2022 and is valid until 31.12.2032.

This Volvo is in great condition!

It was converted to historic rally specification in 2002, since then it has driven 16 rallies over a period of twenty years. 15 of these rallies were completed by 2010 (2 owners), the last rally was in 2022 (current owner). So, no competitions for the most part of the last 12 years.

The current owner has not owned the car for long, he mainly purchased it to get it back on the rally scene. He had the new FIA passport issued and competed at last years Finnish rally of the thousand lakes.

Below is the mechanical information that was supplied to us by someone that knows who build this car, this we cannot guarantee to be correct though as we do not have proof of this.

• All the modifications to the shell were carried out at Tampere Vocational College. The engine was made by Volvo guru A Mylläri, engine power on the dyno was 150 hp (even the builder was surprised by the high power). All classified parts ie sheet metal exhaust kit, Historic ratio m40 gearbox, 4.88 rear ratio with Dana lock. Bilstein shocks on every corner. Stiffer springs at the front than normal.

Safety equipment will need updating, like seats, belts etc.

The car has a Finnish title and is fully road legal, road inspection (MOT/TUV) was carried out last year.
