Very attractive early Porsche 944 2.5, first registered on 22.11.1983.
The car has the classic early 944 styling, naturally aspirated 2.5-litre engine, 5-speed manual gearbox and Limited-slip differential.
Condition
The car presents very well for its age. The body is straight, the paint has a good shine, the engine bay is clean and presentable, and the interior is in good condition with plenty of original early-944 character.
The car has some tasteful modifications, including a front strut brace, upgraded air intake, body kit and period-style mesh wheels.
Paint measurements show that some areas may have been repainted during the car’s lifetime, so this is best described as a very well-presented driver-quality example rather than a completely original concours car.
Equipment & History
Porsche documentation includes the original vehicle data/options sticker and VIN information.
Equipment codes include 220 (limited-slip differential). The limited-slip differential is a particularly desirable specification, adding an extra level of traction and driver involvement to the classic front-engine/rear-transaxle 944.
